To help us fix a bug quickly, please include:

  • Your device and OS version (e.g. iPhone 15, iOS 18.2 — or Pixel 8, Android 15)
  • The GoDex app version (shown at the bottom of the Settings screen)
  • A short description of what happened and what you expected
  • A screenshot, if it helps show the problem

Frequently Asked Questions

The scanner isn't reading my screenshot

Scanning runs entirely on your device — your screenshots are never uploaded anywhere. If a scan comes back empty or wrong, try the following:

  • Use a clear, full-screen in-game screenshot of the Pokémon's stats/appraisal screen
  • Make sure the CP, name, and numbers are fully visible and not cut off or covered by other UI
  • Avoid heavy filters, dark-mode overlays, or cropped images
  • If it still misreads, you can always enter the values manually on the Stats screen

How are IV / CP and PvP rank calculated?

GoDex uses the standard Pokémon GO formulas. Enter a Pokémon's IVs to see its stat product and PvP rank for a league. In advanced mode, enter the CP as well and GoDex will look up the level and predict evolutions. All calculations happen on-device.

I bought "Remove Ads" but still see ads

First, open Settings in the app and tap Restore Purchases. Purchases are tied to the App Store / Google Play account you bought them with, so make sure you're signed in with that same account. If ads still appear after restoring, email us with your purchase details and we'll sort it out.

How do I back up or move my collection?

Your collection, notes, and preferences are stored locally on your device. From the app's Settings / backup screen you can create a backup, restore from one, and export your data as a CSV — useful for moving to a new device or keeping a copy.

How do I delete my data?

Deleting the app removes all data stored on your device. For any data held by our analytics or purchase providers (Firebase or RevenueCat), email us at revenge_developer@protonmail.com and we'll submit deletion requests on your behalf. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
