Terms of Service

Please read these Terms carefully before using GoDex. By downloading or using the App, you agree to be bound by them.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using GoDex, you confirm that you are at least 13 years of age and agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

2. License

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use GoDex for your own personal, non-commercial purposes. You may not:

  • Copy, modify, or distribute the App or any portion of it
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
  • Use the App for any commercial purpose or on behalf of a third party
  • Rent, lease, or sublicense the App

3. In-App Purchases

Remove Ads is a one-time, non-consumable in-app purchase that permanently disables advertising within the App.

  • Payment is processed by Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play) and is subject to their respective terms and refund policies.
  • Your purchase is tied to your Apple ID or Google account. If you reinstall the App or switch devices, use the Restore Purchases button to recover your entitlement.
  • In-app purchases are managed by RevenueCat. See the Privacy Policy for details on what data is shared.

4. Pokémon Intellectual Property

Pokémon and all related names, characters, game data, and imagery are trademarks and copyrights of Nintendo, Creatures Inc., and GAME FREAK inc. Pokémon GO is a trademark of Niantic, Inc.

GoDex is an independent, unofficial companion app. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Nintendo, Niantic, The Pokémon Company, or any of their affiliates.

Pokémon data and artwork used in the App are used for informational and fan purposes only.

5. User Content

You may create personal notes attached to individual Pokémon forms within the App. These notes are stored exclusively on your device and are never transmitted to us or any third party. You retain full ownership of any content you create.

6. Prohibited Use

You agree not to use the App to:

  • Violate any applicable law or regulation
  • Exploit, harm, or attempt to exploit minors
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the App or its related systems
  • Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the App

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

We do not warrant that:

  • The App will be uninterrupted or error-free
  • Any information provided (including Pokémon stats, rankings, or availability data) is accurate, complete, or up to date
  • Defects will be corrected

8. Limitation of Liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, WE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF DATA OR PROFITS, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE APP, EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ANY CLAIMS ARISING FROM THESE TERMS OR YOUR USE OF THE APP SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR THE APP OR ANY IN-APP PURCHASES IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

9. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. The "Last updated" date at the top will reflect any changes. Your continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of competent jurisdiction in your place of residence, to the extent permitted by law.
